First Year Math

First Year Mathematics (or FYM) encompasses mathematics classes up to calculus, and introductory statistics courses. These are the classes used to satisfy university, college, and major requirements in mathematics, as well as providing the first courses for students wishing to major or minor in math.

Almost all FYM classes have a small number of students. The FYM faculty is devoted to the practice of teaching of mathematics and statistics, and is one of the largest such faculties at a university.

Site Highlights
